Edward "Ed" Asner (November 15, 1929 - August 29, 2021) was an American actor and voice artist. He was well known for his role in the 1970s sitcom Mary Tyler Moore as Lou Grant and its spin-off Lou Grant, in which reprised the role. He had also ventured into voice acting, most notably as Carl Fredrickson in Up as well as in Batman: The Animated Series, Spider-Man: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, The Boondocks and Superman.
He voiced Frank Hunter in "The Anniversary".
