Gray wolves are found in The Wild Thornberrys TV Show.

Appearance

Gray wolves can be silvery gray in color, but they can also be black and white. A full grown male wolf can weigh up to 130 pounds. Females are 30 pounds smaller.

Information

In Reality

Gray wolves live in family packs just like dingoes. They howl, bark, snarl, yelp, whimper, and growl, too. The alpha wolves, a male and female lead the pack and only they get the pups. The whole pack defends the territory, raises pups, and hunt prey. A wolf pack can take down a moose or a bison, while a wolf alone can try to capture a rabbit, raccoon, or mouse. The gray wolf is hunted by people mainly because they sometimes hunt livestock like sheep and pigs. But gray wolves can be found in North America and Eurasia.

In "Pack of Thornberrys"

Eliza and Darwin run into a pack of gray wolves. Winema and Pava, the leaders, are impressed with the girl and chimp and call them special. Mato, one of the pack, goes out to a lake with Eliza and Darwin. One night, Mato tries to get some sheep but his chin got scratched by the sharp fence, and he was chased away by the owner. After Eliza washes his injury, they force him to return to his pack. Suddenly, Darwin, Donnie, and Eliza get cornered by a grizzly bear, who smelled marshmallows in Donnie's hair. Luckily, the wolf pack heard Eliza's screams and the bear's roars and chase the big animal off.
