When Eliza tries to swim with the humpback whales, Darwin accidentally knocks Debbie's boombox into the ocean, which creates a disturbing noise and causes the whales to stop their ritual singing. Eliza attempts to set things right.

  • When Marianne tucks Donnie to sleep at the beginning of the episode, she finds amongst a cache of items behind Donnie's pillow, footage of the Tasmanian Wolf. The Tasmanian Wolf (also known as the Tasmanian Tiger, or Thylacine), is a mammal from Australia, New Guinea, and the island state of Tasmania believed to be extinct, after the last known individual died in a zoo in 1936. This could have been an error and mistaken for the Tasmanian Devil, the Thylacine's closest living relative.
